running

i've run for the past week. 30-40 minutes a day. slowly. little to no pain. i was reading online about runners who get herniated disks and came across this

Accept what has happened and then make the right adjustments to battle your way back. You may never be the same as before, but concentrate on what you can salvage rather than fussing over what has been lost.

i think i need to think like that. at least for now. yes, i want to run a marathon in under 4 hours. i want to do a triathlon. but its not worth ruining my body over. i need to do what i can. and be careful.

i may need reminding once in awhile...
