image change

so often i wear my hair in different styles. curly, straight, up, down, half up, etc... well apparently on tuesdays i must always have curly hair. last night my 2 junior high boys saw me and were shocked (i had my hair in a side parted ponytail.) they stared and said

"jen? wow. why not curly?? image change!"

i answered " i was lazy. why do you like the curly hair?"

"it is....(pause for thinking time...interesting"

jen- "oh so which is better?

" both are so so."

(after the class of expressing dis/satisfaction, heres what my student decided to say to put it into use)

"hey jen. both hair is terrible."

jen- "ok tonight 5 homework assignments for you..."

"joke joke. both is phenomenal."



you gotta love the students and their honesty.



in other news. this morning i got up and ran 19 miles. (since saturday i cant) it was a beautiful day. i took some more pictures of cherry blossoms. Its so nice to run along a path of white blossoms on both sides and over. its a shame this season is so short. i should go back this weekend to enjoy them again!
