update

well its been awhile since i last updated this. i need to fill you all in on the exciting occurences of my life.

so there are still many problems with the housing situation and due to complications, i cant move right now. the house has problems but i am in theprocess of trying to contact people who help foreigners in situations similar to this.

this weekend i went to toulon. it was nice to spend time with some friends. we had an american style dinner (hamburgers and french fries) and we played taboo in english. but they mae the 3 americans play in french. so it was good practice.

today i am hopefully going to get my carte de sejour... which lets me stay in the country. i am sure i will wait like 2 hours and i will have forgotten to bring something. thats w things work in france.

this week there has been sales in france. its been fun to go shopping (but no much) and i get pratical things like underwear, socks and sweaters. all the buses and metros are packed. isee people i know everywhere and the stores are so crowded.

friday night, i hung out with ruth lise and vero. it started out i was just hanging around my house and i wanted to shower (but you can shower when you have no hot water and no lights for a week) so i was frustrated (and i know many people in te world dont have these things and live fine, however, if i have o pay 400 euros a month, i better get this) so i started to cry becuase i needed a shower. even me, who doesnt shower often, needs to shower a few times a week. i was going on 4 days... soi was not a happy camper. but then ruth lise called and she came to my rescue and let me shower at her place. we hung out we drove around we came back to her house and we ate dinner. i like those 2 girls. they are fun
