salut mesdames et messieurs!

Boy do i have a lot to write in this blog. funny stories, good stories. i saw that 22 people looked at my blog in the past few days, and i figured i would please my eagerly awaiting readers... hahah.

friday i had 3 classes then theresa and i spent the day together. we decided to go to a cafe, talk, wonder around town and so on... it was nice. we went to this cafe and we had a nice lunch and drink. we talked it was really pleasent. heres where the fun begins. we are sitting by a window and there is a man outside with a stroller. hes parking it and putting an umbrella over it since its a cold and rainy day. and he proceeds to come into the cafe and order a coffee and sit down with a friend. and no, he didnt bring the baby in. so i am amazed and keep looking at the stroller with the baby sleeping and looking at the man sitting next to me peacefully drinking his coffee.

next story. not really a story. more of a comment. i think its humerous that high school boys wear socks with characters on them. and tuck their pants into their socks. i sometimes have a hard time controlling my laughter during class.

friday night we had a gathering at a friend from churched place. we had a nice time and had kings cake. see below.

sat i went to visit the chinese girls, then i did a little grocery shopping and then later went to r squareds. i almost died. we were almost to the stop and all of a sudden a car pulls out in front of the bus. the bus slams to a stop and i was in the process of standing up and walking to the door with some food for the night ahead when the bus slams on the brakes. i loose my balance and i desperately wave my hand around looking for something to grab on to. a woman grabs my arm and pulls me to safety. then i regain composure and exit the bus.

sat night we had a game night and it was me and the Rs and ruth lise, vero, david and olivier. we played cranium, we played uno and a game where you put a name on eachothers heads and you have to figure out who you are. it was fun fun fun.

then sunday i got up and made a meal to take to church (we had a meal in common after) the service was good and we talked about faith. we also talked about a verse in romains 10. it was good. then we had a meal together after and its always fun to hang out with the people at my church cause they are fun and nice. then we had an outreach for people the elected people in the neighborhood. i dont know what it is in english. important people who make decisions for the neighborhood. and we had gallette des rois. this is kings cake and i will put up pics soon. thsi cake i have had now 3 times. its fun because you cut it and choose a peice and some pieces have a little figurine or something in it and if you get one, you get to wear a crown. its fun!

so far i have not gotton a crown. i was even nice and brought a slice for R squared to have some today and figures, they have one in their piece. hahha
