nice day

man o man.. sometimes i have days when i wish i could stop time... today i had class (i wouldnt stop time there) and my classes were good. then afterwards i went to the store to buy some groceries and i found a pair of black capri pants....for 4 euros and 80 centimes...who has been looking for black capri pants? ME! then i went to meet my some friends and we spent the afternoon at a cafe, in the downstairs room just talking and laughing and enjoying each others company. we drank tea. talked about lots of things. its so nice to have time to really enjoy peoples company. i think often in the past, ive always been busy and schedulng people in for 1 hour here and 1 hour there and i love that we can just spend an afternoon together until we feel like leaving. no rush, no worries.

i drank a tea called cap vert. i ended up buying a packet of it to make at home. then i mosied/mosyed (how do you spell that?) on home and saw my roommates for 20 min and now i am off to bible study shortly.

yesterday i had my last class with some of my students. we took pictures and ill put some up in the next few days. they got me a pink card. do they know me or what? i am really goign to miss teaching high school!

oh yeah, yesterday was a beautiful day, so i went to the prefecture to get my carte de sejour.. so i can leagally stay in the country. thats right- it took 7 months to get here... and i will have it for a month and then leave. haha. but i only had to wait 20 min. that was awesome.. then i wandered around outside becuase it was so nice. i ran into Ele...another assistant...from england. we hung out and went to a cafe and i showed her my favorite store in marseille.... we had a great afternoon. we also went to the library. i checked out like 3 books and 2 movies. should keep me busy. i love reading! see and i also have the time to read here. life is good!
