its been awhile

well a lot has happened since i last updated. we will start with the good. tuesday night we had friends come over to eat and have the bible study. olivier came early and danced the cha cha slide. i wish i could say i had a picture of that... but i dont. we made tacos and had a good old time. then wednesday evening the roommates and i went to an american familys house for dinner. it was a nice time. we had raclette. (baked potatoes with meat and cheese)

now for the bad news... on thursday i got a call from my mom to tell me that my grandma died. it was kinda unexpected. she had surgery a few weeks ago and she had been in the hospital but we all that she was goign to get better. then thursday it just got worse. so thursday night i cried a lot. i got up and went to work but it wasnt easy. so ive been trying to take it easy this weekend, and just trying to not think about it too much, but i am sad that i cant be there for my family during a rough time like this. so if you feel inclined, you can say a prayer for my family.

i went hiking with ruth lise and vero at frioul island. it was nice to just be out in the middle of nowhere and kinda think about stuff.

today at church my cell phone went off. its been having problems lately. i know that i turned the volume off.. and then the dreaded event happened. during the prayer time, my cell phone rang...

then after church i went to olivia's house for lunch with ruth lise. fun times with my french gals.
