dana sanders in marseille???

SO THIS PAST WEEKEND WAS A FUN FUN WEEKEND. saturday dana called me and told me she missed her flight. so she took the next one...getting into marseille at 10pm. so upon waiting her arrival, raquel and i along with david, vero, olivier went to ruth lise's place to have dinner. she made salmon. and we had a lemon merangue pie for dessert. she can cook! then dana called to tell me she was on the bus to get to where we could pick her up. olivier came up with the grand idea to make a welcome sign.. so i did. then we drove to the train station to pick her up with ruth lise, david and vero in the other car. we were late so we didnt get to do the sign...we got her and went to the beach. this is when we did the sign! it was around midnight and we decided to walk around and enjoy the scenery. fun memories are hearing all of my friends try to speak english. they are good! they never did that for me!

sunday morning we woke up and went to church, then we all headed over to olivier's for lunch. then christian, olivier, ruth lise and dana went to the calanques. it was so beautiful (see pics) then we went to see Walk the Line. the movie about johnny cash. i thought it would be lame, but i liked it a lot!

then today was danas last day in marseille, so we had to go get crepes. we had crepes for lunch at vieux port, then went to my favorite jewelry store and dana and raquel left almost 20 euros poorer. then we took dana to get the bus tot he airport. bye dana! come again!

tomorrow i leave for lyon to stay with my friends family. should be good times. well time to go pack and respond to emails before i leave. have a good week!
